In this interview, Jemell talks about tissue viability nursing and discusses her research into experiences of injecting drug users living with leg ulceration and how she believes that much more should be done to fight the stigma around these people and to improve the wound care. Furthermore, she’ll explain the importance of raising public awareness in relation to the Legs Matter campaign.
Lastly, she will draw attention to the various possibilities nurses have to pursue different careers, being authors, charity workers or entrepreneurs, and share the excitement about her plans to open a wound clinic for the homeless population in London.
