Have your say

The National Wound Care Strategy Programme (NWCSP) has worked closely with NHS England colleagues on the draft Leg Ulcer Best Practice Bundle and would like to invite health and care professionals, providers, commissioners, people with wounds, carers and wound product suppliers to share their views.

The Best Practice Bundle is based on evidence-based practice, learning from the First Tranche Implementation Sites and Health Innovation Network’s Transforming Wound Care Programme. It is intended to complement the wider NWCSP Leg Ulcer Recommendations by supporting providers, commissioners and practitioners to implement change that will have most impact. It brings together five evidence-based elements of care, which when performed collectively, significantly improve healing rates, reduce recurrence rates and limb loss, improve patient experience and reduce the use of NHS resources and costs.
