Glasgow, Maidstone and Manchester
We kicked off the first of our five Legs Matter Roadshow events in Glasgow followed by fabulous sessions in Maidstone, Kent and Manchester.
We had full houses on all days and there was a mix of private and NHS Podiatrists in attendance as well as clinicians from Community nursing teams.
About the day
Members from the Legs Matter coalition, in partnership with Essity, presented a mix of theory and practical over the course of the day. The enthusiasm and engagement throughout every session was great to see, with many attendees stating they felt much more confident with both ABPI and compression therapy by the end of the course, whilst building their own professional networks in the process. Jo Casey, Joint Chair of Legs Matter said:
The Legs Matter Roadshow has a super supportive atmosphere and it is wonderful to see Podiatrists, Nurses and other Healthcare Professionals developing their skills and knowledge in the use of compression hosiery, to support early intervention in venous disease management.
