The All-Party Parliamentary Group on Skin has published the findings from its inquiry on ‘Mental Health and Skin Disease’.

The aim of the report was to gain insight into the state of mental health services available to patients with skin conditions in the UK and the psychological impact of these conditions.

It covers every aspect of mental health and skin disease, ranging from the design and commissioning of services to healthcare professional training, research priorities and patient advocacy. There is hope that the report’s recommendations will be championed and adopted by politicians, commissioners, and NHS providers.
