There were lots of brilliant and inspiring moments at the Journal of Wound Care Award Ceremony in London, where recognition is given to those stars in the Wound Care world. These award helps showcase the talent, passion and dedication in wound prevention and care.
We were delighted with the recognition of our own work in the Innovation Award Category by receiving a Highly Commended, alongside the likes of Ana Lúcia Martins de Oliveira from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and Sue Harris and Bibiana Baumgart, Ashford & St Peter’s Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We also saw our very own Jemell Geraghty from the Royal Free Hospital, NHS Foundation Trust cleaning up and winning the category for the Patient Wellbeing Award. And also being Highly Commended for the Best Clinical or Preclinical Research Award.
Highly commended in this category are: Ana Lúcia Martins de Oliveira from the Royal College of Surgeons, Ireland, and Sue Harris and Bibiana Baumgart, Ashford & St Peter's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust #JWCAwards
