What’s is about?
The Lower Limb Therapy Service was established in 2015 as a collaboration between the Trust and Devon ICB, commissioned to deliver evidence based Leg Ulcer treatments to all patients.
In 2021 the service expanded to deliver evidence based leg ulcer management to all patients within the Torbay and South Devon footprint. We also provide specialist advice and care plans for Community Nursing Teams and Residential Homes needing support with housebound complex leg ulcer patients.
On June 9th 2025 our LLTS celebrates its 10 year anniversary. To mark this special day we are hosting a garden event at Newton Abbot Community hospital at 9 – 12 noon in the front grounds of Newton Abbot hospital. Past and current employes, patients and the trust media representatives will be present to capture this special time.
