Lower limb open day event

What’s it about

A fun and interactive event raising awareness to highlight the national demand and importance or timely referrals to reduce the cost burden in lower limb management but ultimately improving the QOL of our service users.

There will also be a skills workshop with areas on:

• Assessment, skin care
• Wound bed prep
• Dressing selection
• Compression bandaging & hosiery selection

These are key elements to our new lower limb competency tool which will be handed out for clinicians to develop skills to achieve desired levels of competency.

Resource packs available for HCP’s with learning material & goodies and lunch & refreshments will be provided.
