Improving wound care is critical for the more than 2 million people who live with chronic wounds and millions of others who require wound care at any given time. Effective information sharing between care teams, people using wound care services and their families/carers is key to improving these services. There is currently no recognised standard for a generic information record that can support the delivery of wound care.

Professional Record Standards Body has been commissioned by the National Wound Care Strategy Programme to produce a wound care record standard to support the adoption of best practices in wound care.

To ensure the standard reflects what people who use services and carers think is important, we would like to encourage individuals with experience of using wound care services and carers who have been looking after people with wounds to complete a short survey.

Complete survey

The deadline is 9am on 5th September.

Please share this survey with people who have relevant experiences. If you have any questions please get in touch
